In high school — 2012ish, I think — I "borrowed" my mom's Canon Rebel to take some photos. As I started messing around with the camera's features, I quickly realized most of my shots weren't coming out great. At one point I even thought I'd broken it when the shutter wouldn't close (?). That confusion turned into real curiosity, and I wanted to understand digital photography on a deeper level. Lots of trial and error later, I've been running an online photo gallery of my work ever since and may have a publication or two.
