This project aims to develop a simple and unique luxury car-buying experience. By integrating technologies like LiDAR, AR, and AI chat assistants, the goal is to bridge the gap between digital research and the physical purchase. The experience is designed for multi-platform use, including mobile phones, in-house tablets, and personal devices.

Strategy

To combat the intimidating nature of traditional car sales, the strategy centers on "O.B." (OmniBot), a personal AI assistant that provides a supportive "Helpful Hand" throughout the journey. The visual direction prioritizes transparency, ensuring that price, financing options, and insurance are always clearly displayed to remove the "financial burden" and build user trust.

Technical

Technical Execution: I architected a cross-device ecosystem that allows users to transfer progress seamlessly between their mobile devices and the physical "Fully Interactive Room".

  • AR Retail: Utilizing QR codes and LiDAR for 3D mapping of vehicle specs and fuel economy.

  • Environmental Logic: The interactive room utilizes projectors for 3D rendering and touch-sensitive responsive floors to simulate various weather and terrains.

  • OmniBot Logic: Developed the conversational flow for O.B. to guide users from initial model selection through deep customization of color, trim, and performance.


    This project represents a commitment to System & Soul by humanizing high-tech retail. By creating a "one-stop shop" that empowers users to explore at their own pace—either virtually or in an immersive lounge—I proved that complex financial and technical decisions can be made accessible and even enjoyable through intuitive design.
